The 30^th Lyran Guards Regimental Combat Team (RCT) has the means to provide both offensive, reconnaissance and security operations as a regimental combat team while it maneuvers about the battlefield. Like all Lyran Commonwealth regimental combat teams, the 30^th Guards RCT has an organic engineer battalion, defensive chemical warfare company, field artillery battalion equipped with the Padilla Heavy Artillery Tank armed with a Ketyusha Arrow IV Missile Launcher, two Martell Medium Pulse Lasers and Burrow Anti-Missile System and a military intelligence company. Also with the assignment of a organic tank battalion equipped with the Fulcrum Heavy Hovertank armed with a mounted Delta Dart LRM 10-Pack Anti-Mech Missile System, Sunglow Type 2 Large Laser and Diverse Optics Type 18 Medium Laser and the Alacorn MK VI Heavy Tank armed with three Norse-Strom Model-7D Gauss Rifles. In addition, the 3^rd Battalion of the 30^th Guards has organic to its arsenal, an air defense artillery company in the equipped with the Partisan Air Defense Tank armed with two Imperator Code Red LB 10-X Autocannons, two Imperator Smoothie Light Autocannons and the Kallon Sure-Shot C³ Tracking System. The 30^th Guards RCT is continuing to train in the concept of being quickly deployable, highly versatile and extremely lethal. Along with the 3^rd Battalion, the unit is very deployable, fully capable of conducting night and limited visibility operations and will operate quite well in the low- to mid-intensity conflicts. Also deployed with the 30^thGuards, the third battalion's non-Mech forces are equipped with the cavalry scout vehicle. A Pegasus Scout Hover Tank armed with two mounted Valiant Pilum SRM6 Anti-Mech Missile Systems and Victory Heartbeat Medium Pulse Laser. The cavalry scout vehicle is very mobile, agile and deadly accurate on the battlefield. The remainder of the 30^th Guards RCT is comprised of the 30^th Guards Armor Brigade and its subordinate units the 16^th Guards Heavy Armor Regiment, 19^th Guards Light Armor Regiment, 22^nd Tsinan Panzer Regiment, 12^th Coventry Armored Cavalry Regiment and the7^th/1^st Guards Artillery Battalion. The 30^th RCT's infantry brigade is the 30^th Guards Infantry Brigade with its subordinate units the 25^th Guards Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 6^th Vorzel Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 19^th Guards Jump Infantry Regiment, 16^th Coventry Jump Infantry Regiment and the 30^th Lyran Military Police Regiment. The 30^th Guards Aerospace Group consists of 2 wings, the 7^th Guards Fighter Wing and the 15^th Coventry Fighter Wing which provides support for space-to-ground operations.
